A step-by-step guide to grow microgreens in your home.

1. Fill Your Grow Kit With Water

Fill the porcelain dish with water to just above the marked line. You can use regular tap water for this step.

2. Assemble The Grow Kit

Place your seed pad in the stainless steel insert, set this into the bowl with both shade covers on top.

3. Wait for 3-4 Days

Keep the seeds covered for 3-4 days or until the microgreens push the shade covers off.

4. Uncover The Kit

After 3-4 days the shade covers can be removed. Place your kit on windowsill or in a well lit area, microgreens do not need a lot of light, but it is better to have more than less.

5. Enjoy Your Fresh Microgreens

After 7 to 10 days, your Microgreens are ready to harvest! Snip off a few and enjoy on sandwiches, salads, pizza, or any other food you fancy!

Optimal temperatures for microgreens are between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Too hot or cold can negatively impact growth.

Microgreens don’t require a lot of light, but they benefit from exposure to a good amount of indirect light. A windowsill or bright room work wonders for us.

The time it takes to grow microgreens varies by type, but most are ready to harvest in 7-10 days.

The water doesn’t need to be swapped, but its recommend to do so after taking off your shade covers.

Spraying the seeds with a spray bottle filled with water can speed up the germination process. While you can’t drastically speed up growth, optimal light, temperature, and moisture conditions can ensure the fastest healthy growth for your microgreens.
